I was actually hoping to show you stage two of my latest little project, but a certain someone (who shall remain nameless) pilfered the camera this morning, so I have had to settle with some shots I took the other day. I mean, sheesh, does he (who shall remain nameless) not realise the importance of recording my creative space on a Thursday ? Rest assured that this error will not occur again. This time I have recovered my gouache set from the dusty depths of the shed. At this stage I have only done a wash of watercolour, so we'll just see how the gouache comes into things in the next few days. Hope that you're having a lovely, creative sort of day and thanks again to
Kirsty for hosting this great meme.
Oh I love it all...The boy is a fave for sure.
ReplyDeletei will look forward to the progress...your drawings are sweet...
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying the image of you raiding the shed for the paints. Looking forward to the updated shots once you've reclaimed the camera.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kirsty, it's important to know that I always wear my mining helmet when I rummage around for my art supplies in the shed. Safety first :)
ReplyDeleteThe sweetest drawing. Excuse my ignorance but off to look up gouache
ReplyDeleteThose drawings are so sweet. I'll be interested to watch the work progress.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I can see a short animated film emerging from those pictures.
ReplyDeleteThe drawings are super cool - love them! :) K
ReplyDeleteOh NDM, a girl can dream can't she ? I'll be happy to see three completed frames, the thought of a film makes my head boggle.
ReplyDeleteoh, I love Gouache - we buy the same brand :)
ReplyDeleteA pity after the kidlets came along I let them use them for crafty pursuits...
Kidlets....suck you dry of your very last drop of paint won't they ? But we do it 'cause we love 'em, bless their wee paint stained fingers.
ReplyDeleteTo avoid repeating myself, Amanda, redorgrayart,74limelane, daylesford organics and Kylie, thank-you :)

What great in-progress shots, even if they're "old." I can only imagine they were even more fantastic on the actual day. ;)

ReplyDeleteDon't worry littlebird, 'he who shall remain nameless' has been forgiven. He remembered to bring the camera home thus indulging me in my blogging pursuits :)
