Eye Spy....Something I shouldn't eat but do anyway.

Last week, as you probably well know, I completely over-indulged in these sweet little morsels. Terribly naughty I know, but you just can't stop at one, I promise you.

Today I am atoning for my sins and ate a great big bowl of this. Aaaah, that's much better now isn't it ? I feel so virtuous that I just may leap up out of the chair and go for a jog around the block.....or, maybe not....wouldn't want to send the body into shock now would I ?

Jog (or gently meander) over to Cindys for more naughty eye spy treats and thanks to Jennifer Rose for this weeks delicious theme.

  1. I do like a bit of the naughty stuff (food that is!!). Although I have to say cupcakes just don't do it for me. I'd probably go for the fruit salad instead. It looks divine. Although would look even better with a big scoop of vanilla icecream on top!

  2. Oh yeh - I've been eating too much of the top one too! Funnily enough, I can't eat the fruit salad, that would stop my breathing within a few minutes - all the better excuse to eat more cupcakes (which happen to be in the oven right now)!

  3. Eek Melanie, no fruit salad for you. I'll give you an extra cupcake :)

  4. I consider cupcakes a health food. An affordable luxury in these tough times. The sweet little things cheer you up. How can that possibly be bad?

  6. I feel the consesus is that cupcakes should be much lower on the food pyramid, sneeking in between the vegetables and fruit. Thanks for your comments gals.

  7. Cup cakes are good for the soul... especially the cream filled ones called 'angel cakes'. The rest, although perhaps not as pious, are still light and feathering ... HEAVENLY.
So... it logically follows that eating cup cakes makes you a virtuous person.

  8. Wow, that cupcake looks good. I am reading everyone's posts pre-lunch time and I am wishing I had a cupcake, sushi, etc
